The world isn’t flat; now, neither is your ride!

Features

Real-time grade changes
KICKR CLIMB physically adjusts your bike position to mimic real roads and mountain climbing. This allows you to naturally change position on the bike, engage climbing muscles, and improve pedaling technique to become more efficient and powerful climber.
Ascend up to 20% and decend down to -10%
KICKR CLIMB quickly raises and lowers your bike to match ascents of up to 20% grade and descents of -10% grade when paired with the new KICKR or new SNAP. Climbs are more realistic than ever when training indoors!
Works with Wahoo KICKR and KICKR SNAP
KICKR CLIMB was designed jointly with the new KICKR and new KICKR SNAP indoor bike trainers (2017 Editions) to deliver the best possible riding experience. It pairs directly to the smart trainer for a connection that allows the trainer to control the KICKR CLIMB.
Direct Proximity Pairing
Use the KICKR CLIMB’s remote to quickly and directly pair it to your KICKR or KICKR SNAP. Press the remote button and you are ready to go!
Lock and Unlock climbing modes
  • Unlock Mode allows the CLIMB to react to grade changes from external sources such as Zwift or TrainerRoad, or from your ELEMNT or ELEMNT BOLT GPS bike computer.
  • Lock Mode ensures the KICKR CLIMB will only respond to commands received from the remote.
Manual grade adjustments with remote control
KICKR CLIMB’s remote attaches to your handlebars so you can adjust the grade manually with a simple press of a button. When not in use the remote conveniently stores away in the top of the KICKR CLIMB.
3rd party app compatibility
When paired to a KICKR or KICKR SNAP the KICKR CLIMB can match grade changes from select training platforms, such as Zwift and TrainerRoad, to create a truly immersive ride experience. Whether riding a virtual course or performing a structured workout, KICKR CLIMB blends physical grade changes with resistance changes to take your indoor ride to the next level. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Waiting a year and it is great! Wonderful piece of equipment and I think this is a great step for Wahoo.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A more realistic climbing experience I trained indoors on zwift last season during the frozen winter in Sweden. My fitness is good and i wanted to specifically target climbing cols in preparation for the rides i would undertake in the summer. This went great and my fitness/power improved HOWEVER when i got to the real cols i did struggle with the specific muscle and position demands REAL climbing puts on you and struggled to reproduce the kind of numbers i could put out in the pain cave. The Kickr climb appears to offer me that missing piece of the jigsaw as i can really feel the glutes , quads and calves working on the ascents up Alpe du Zwift in a way that is much closer to real life. If you are serious about training for a ride in the mountains this summer i would say the Kickr is pretty much indespensable in your training programme.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the investment! After two months of use here is what I found: 1. Setup is easy and unit performed flawlessly from the beginning. 2. No troubles of any kind during use. 3. Does add a notable change in the realism of rides especially when using visual training rides such as FulGaz. 4. Will make the long season of off road training (northern US) much more interesting than the old turbo trainer days. 5. Worth the investment IMHO. Could I live without it? Yes, but don’t be the one who tries to take it away!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Adds that extra layer of training The Kickr bike trainer alone can certainly simulate hill climbs really well but, adding the Climb turned it up a notch. I like that I can manually control the incline as well. Some of those hills in Zwift are INSANE for me right now. It’s nice to be able to dial it back a bit. Loving my Climb.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun addition to the indoor tools This is great with the simulation apps like Zwift. I was having issues but finally think I have the right order of sensor detection to allow everything to work with Zwift every time. Basically, I make sure the RPM sensor is the last to register. I also find the Climb nice to just make getting out of the saddle more comfortable on fixed training to give the butt a break.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes riding indoors even more fun! I have had the Kickr Climb about 1 month now. As many have asked and shared, "Do you really need this product?" The answer is "no" but it definitely enhances the experience of riding with your online cycling games/programs. While riding, you sometimes can see that there is a change in gradient coming up. It is obviously more noticeable on definitely climbs. But on undulating terrain, the Climb helps me to better judge when there is a change in gradient, so I can adjust gears smoothly and maintain cadence. This is because I can feel in my handlebars that I am changing my position (as the bike moves up or down) as it relates to "flat" versus a grade. The Climb was very easy to finish installing and then pairing to my Kickr. As others have said, just make sure you take the Climb out of "locked" mode, and it will react perfectly to the changes in the landscape as you ride. Pricing might be a tad high, but I try not to focus on that. I am definitely having a blast using it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply amazing Ok, so if you live in a flat area or just short hills or bridges like me(Florida) and you love climbing then this is it. Get Wahoo trainer, climb and Zwift and that is all you need. It’s simply amazing. There is nothing else out there except real mountains.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome addition! I have had the Kickr Climb for a couple of months and it's a great addition to my indoor training regime. I use it with Zwift and it responds immediately to changes in gradient making the rides more realistic. One thing to note if your using your climb with Zwift, if your trainer difficulty is not set at Max (100%), you will need to divide your wheel base by the difficulty setting (i.e. wheel base is 1011mm and trainer difficulty is 50%, 1011/ .50 = 2,022 )and input that number (2,022) in your Kickr Sensor in the Wahoo Fitness App. Once you've made this adjustment, the Climb responses to gradient changes will be immediate and accurate.
